Is this replacing Sea Bears Youth League?
For 2026, SBYL 3x3 is the Spring Basketball Youth League format, designed to maximize development through high-rep skill sessions and structured 3x3 competition.
This season, the focus is on strengthening local opportunities while broader infrastructure and operational initiatives progress. Peg City is actively working with key partners behind the scenes to support long-term solutions and bring a new dedicated facility to life.
At the same time, the Winnipeg Sea Bears organization is relocating its administrative office, with its new space currently in development. Together, these efforts reflect a shared commitment to strengthening basketball in Winnipeg through thoughtful investment in players, spaces, and the future of the game.
SBYL 3x3 ensures athletes continue to have a strong community development pathway this Spring while these broader initiatives move forward.
