Sea Bears Youth League

Introducing the Sea Bears Youth League!

Peg City is thrilled to launch the Sea Bears Youth League (SBYL), proudly sponsored by the Winnipeg Sea Bears.

What is the Sea Bears Youth League (SBYL)?

SBYL is a new district-based league where teams are assigned experienced club-level coaches who focus on skill development and game concepts. Players register within their school catchments, enabling them to team up with friends while still benefiting from guidance provided by club-level coaches.

  • Ages 7-10 will have 40 minutes of skills development then jump right into 40 minutes of gameplay to put their skills into action.
  • Ages 11-14 will receive 1 practice and 1 competitive match per week. Games feature stop-time, ensuring maximum gameplay for all participants. In true Sea Bears style, every game ends with a target-score finish, guaranteeing the excitement of a game-winning shot!

At the conclusion of the season, teams in each age group will compete in the SBYL Knockout Championship to determine which district will claim the inaugural crown!

Other perks include:

  • Official Sea Bears Youth League jersey
  • Discounted Sea Bears tickets
  • Special prices on merchandise
  • Select Sea Bears player visits

As always, Peg City delivers a professional experience with detailed standings, structured schedules, and a focus on player development.
